Lil Monkey Dome Climber Review

September 22, 2015

Everything Mommyhood received the product below in exchange for our honest review. All opinions are those of our own and were not influenced in any way. This post contains affiliate links.

The Lil Monkey Climber Dome is a super fun outdoor toy for kids age 3-6, it reminds me of those giant jungle gyms we used to have back on the playground when I was a little girl, except this is a much smaller scale. I have two girls ages 3 and 7, so this is perfect for them to play on.

I ordered our Lil’ Monkey Dome Climber on Amazon, and it arrived in about 5 days, and of course once we received it, it rained for about a week straight, then we had to wait for our backyard to dry up, and that was TORTURE for my daughters, and of course myself!

Lil-Monkey Dome Climber~ A new way to keep kids active!

Share the joy

August 20th, 2015 - By Lakota F

Thank you to Lil Monkey Climber for providing product in exchange for review! All opinions belong to myself.

Kids love being active, it’s in their nature to run climb jump and play. With todays new technology being such a big role in childrens daily life it can be hard to spark that fun exciting outside play. I hear so many parents saying their children just don’t play that often outside. We as a family have specifically set very limited screen time hours as well as including more wood based natural toys that don’t use battery of any kind.

The Lil Monkey Dome Climber is a climbing toy built of high quality plastic tubes that allow for strength as well as flex. The climber is recommended for ages 3-6 with a height of 118 cm and a width of 170. My 3 almost 4 year old is perfectly sized for this toy. My 1 year old daughter is just big enough to try and hang, but not yet climb.

Outdoor Fun Monkeying Around

Sunday, September 6, 2015

M2, like most kids, loves to climb. Inside, she'll climb anything and everything from the couch and tables to the hutch and counters So A and I have come up with a way to direct her climbing outdoors with the Lil Monkey dome climber. That way, she can climb something she's supposed to and stays safe.

The Lil Monkey dome climber is 24.80" L x 66.9" W x 46.5" H -- the perfect size to be big enough to have fun climbing but not big enough to get hurt if M2 falls off. It's only about 14lbs., too, so I can easily move it around the yard. The grass hasn't been damaged by it either, since the weight isn't substantial. The climber works for indoor play as well when winter arrives in a few months. The structure is very sturdy even though it's light. A had no problems putting it together.

As parents and with kids home for the summer vacation, we find that we like to have things on hand to keep the kids busy with. Now sure, there is our local park which the kids enjoy going to or even the beach, but on days where we are staying home where I strive when it comes to finding things to keep busy from home with, I like having fun outdoor products to keep the kids busy with. Recently I was introduced to a product that is not only great to put up for the kids, but one that also makes it so it is like bringing the playground that the kids find at the park, and so much more, home with the Lil Monkey Dome Climber!

Review of the Lil’ Monkey Dome Climber

As a child I loved climbing and hanging from railings, and my kids are no different, but climbing frames have come a long way from those I used as a child ! My children and I recently had the opportunity to test the new Lil’ Monkey Climbing Dome for review.  It is a climbing dome with a difference- not only is it a lightweight, flexible climbing frame, it also comes with it’s own augmented reality app!

Lil’ Monkey Dome Climber Review

My daughter Alexis has been training for American Ninja Warrior since the day she was born. She learned how to climb out of her crib at a young age, quickly started climbing and breaking baby gates, and is constantly walking up the door frames. She reminds me of my younger brother Hallie. He spent months trying to teach me how to walk down the hallway without ever touching the carpet (which I never learned). If she’s not inside climbing the walls, she’s outside doing flips which is why I knew the Lil’ Monkey Dome Climber would be perfect for her.

A Sparkle of genius

I have four kids, and I know that it isn’t always easy to keep my kids active.  With the world of video games and technology sometimes it is really hard to get my kids to go outside and play.  Growing up, I spent a lot of my time outdoors and it is always a goal of my to teach my kids to love doing the same.  When I found out about the Lil’ Monkey Dome Climber, I was excited because I knew this would be a great way for my kids to work off their energy while playing outside.  Especially for my three year old daughter who loves to climb on anything that she can!

The Perfect Climber for Little Monkeys!

If you have a crazy climbing kid between the ages of 3 and 6 then you need the Lil Monkey Playground Jungle Gym . Don’t panic this is not like that crazy big metal thing that they used to have on the playgound, noting too high here. This jungle gym is the perfect height for little ones allowing them to climb but not be dangerous. Made of sturdy plastic it is nice and strong for the age range specified ( they do recommend anchoring it for added safety.)

3 Games Your Kids Can Play on the Lil Monkey Dome Climber

Getting kids off the couch and away from a device can be a struggle for most parents. Playing outside stimulates children in so many ways. Physically, they are more active running around the yard. For creativity and cognitive development, playing outside allows kids to use their imaginations to create games and role-play. All of these types of activities are a healthy part of childhood.
